Hello everyone, this is my first post.  Here is why I am doing this.  For some reason I recently have been having bad bus karma.  Let me tell you what happened this week on the bus…..Wednesday 2/13 I was on the bus, when it started smoking, yes you heard me right, smoking on I405 north.  Luckily we were close to one of the bus stops (a park and ride lot) and pulled over, we all had to get off the bus and then he took off, leaving all of us on the side of the road.  Here is was made me mad.  When we pulled over, another bus going to the same final location as ours (but takes a different slower route) was turning out of the park and ride lot.  He could have waited for us, but no, we were forced to wait for the next bus, making all of use late.  If we would have been able to transfer we might have been 5 minutes late rather then 25 minutes.  Grrrr.

Thursday was no better.  Again there I was on the bus listening to music, watching the road when I noticed that our bus had taken the wrong exit off 520 onto South 405 rather then North.  So what was the first thing that came to my head “Crap I got on the wrong bus!” Now I started to think how was I going to get from Bellevue to my destination.  I knew there was a bus, but I had no idea where it came from or where this bus was going.  I never heard an announcement from the driver, and then I noticed that other people around me had the same confused look.  My second thought was the driver was going the wrong way, we all looked confused and bewildered, again no announcements where made over the speakers.  It was when we got off the freeway and then back on going North that I understood what was going on.  There was an accident on the 520 exit going North so we took a detour which did save us some time, but confused the heck out of everyone.

So twice in one week I was confused and left on the side of the road by the bus.  I am writing this blog to let other riders know they they are not alone and I too have had a bad bus day but will still ride the bus to work everyday.
